Product Overview
Our Finca Rumania Natural Organic coffee is an Arabica-bean blend of bourbon, caturra, pacas, catimor and sarchimor varieties, all grown on the Finca Rumania farm and its sister farm, Finca Hungría, both of which are certified Organic, Rainforest Alliance, and SMBC Bird-friendly farms. Located in the town of El Congo in the department of Santa Ana, El Salvador, these farm were originally established as coffee plantations in the 1930´s and are run as a family business. The farms are nestled in the Apaneca–Ilamatepeque mountain range and sit at an elevation of 1100m+ and are managed as an agroforest - completely planted with coffee growing under the shade of giant cedar, oak, and balsam trees.
