A red bourbon varietal from Muyinga, Burundi. This complex coffee is wonderfully sweet, with a lot of tea like qualities. Flavor notes consist of mango, apricot, and sweet pea. This is the perfect coffee to enjoy on a warm morning in the sunshine. We sourced Busasa from Higa Coffee; a coffee importer that works at origin and has strong relational ties with their producers. Higa only buys specialty grade lots and works with the farmers to determine a fair and above market price. We love working with Higa because of our shared passion for meeting the needs of their community.
