A simple recipe to make a single, fresh cup of coffee.
Supplies (12oz)
- Scale
- 24g Coffee
- 350g Hot Water
Instructions
- Grab a mug and V60, place the V60 right on top of that mug.
- Open the filter and place it into the V60 cone.
- Completely rinse the filter with hot water, and discard the water left in the mug.
- Measure out 24g of coffee and grind (if whole bean).
- Pour the 24g of coffee grounds into the filter, place the V60 on the scale, and “tare” the scale so that it reads zero.
- Start timer and pour <60g of water in a circular motion to completely saturate the grounds while avoiding the edges. Wait 30-45 seconds.
- Pour slowly around the center of the grounds until you reach 350g of water.
- Once the V60 is done dripping, remove and discard filter with grounds. The entire brew should take between 2-3 min.
If you need a little extra coffee:
16oz
32g Coffee
